About Laura
Laura Brown first took a kundalini yoga class when she was 18, and has been practicing, learning and teaching since then! For the past 4 years, Laura has also directed the annual Flagstaff Yoga Festival.
Laura did her initial teacher training at the Living Yoga Program in Barsana Dham, Austin, in January 2006, and has since studied with Erich Schiffmann, Angela Farmer, Viktor Van Kooten, Ana Forrest, Paul Grilley, Desiree Rumbaugh, Elise Browning Miller, Robert Boustany and more.
Today, Laura’s classes are an eclectic, intuitive blend of many different yoga styles’ inspiration, such as Iyengar, the work of Angela and Viktor, Kundalini, Slow Flow, Yin, Anusara, Forrest Yoga, and Pralaya Yoga.
Her complementary trainings in intuitive arts, core strengthening, conscious language, and pranayama inform her yoga teaching sometimes, making each class, a unique experience tailored to the students in the room!
